Zest Kitchen and Bar | Our Story

A neighborhood table in St. Lucie West
Zest Kitchen & Bar is a destination in the heart of St. Lucie West — where a serious kitchen and a welcoming room share equal billing.
The kitchen
Built around precision and provenance — Coleman Farm's chicken, Snake River Farms Kobe beef, and Nueske's bacon anchor the menu. Entrées like pan-roasted duck breast with berry gastrique and pan-seared red snapper with citrus beurre blanc reflect a kitchen that thinks in layers.
The bar
The cocktail list is built with the same intention as the food — the Zest Mule, Knob Old Fashioned, and Espresso Martini are all made from scratch. A curated wine list spans California, France, Italy, Chile, New Zealand, and Germany.
Ingredients worth naming
The ceviche layers scallops, lump crab, and shrimp with serrano peppers and avocado; the chopped iceberg salad features Nueske's bacon and baby heirloom tomatoes; the shredded duck salad is finished with Humboldt Fog goat cheese and a cherry vinaigrette. When the sourcing is this specific, it ends up on the menu.
A table for every occasion
Open for weekday lunch, dinner Monday–Saturday, and Sunday brunch from 10 AM–2 PM. Happy Hour runs 4–6 PM daily with well drinks, house wines, and $3 off specialty cocktails.
St. Lucie West's go-to spot
Solo lunch at the bar, a date-night dinner over lamb chops, or Sunday brunch with the whole table — Zest is the neighborhood restaurant Port Saint Lucie keeps coming back to.
